Hi, Just came across you on My space then on to your website. Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your music back in the 70's. I now spend my time between Plymouth and Florida but in those days lived in and was brought up in Abercrave and watched you guys in Abercrave and Seven Sisters rugby clubs many many times. James Hogg Band were so great at that time I will never know how you never made it big, with the songs Lovely Lady Rock, California Blues and Gotta Be A Winner all of which I still have. I see the band has changed a bit but still has two origional members.

My son has a band called Icaruss which are also on My Space with videos on You Tube. He is trying to make it but it is really hard but I hope they get that extra bit of luck.

Anyway it made my day finding you.

Regards, Phil Davies
Hi
I remember you quite well from the early 70's - mainly from places like the Cwmcarn School dances. Here we had people like yourselves, Budgie, Sassafras, Greedy Fly, Stonewall Jackson, Lazy Doll, Spring, Morning Coffee, Strawberry Dust, Touch, Kimla Taz etc, etc.

Remember any of those. Bought all your singles in those days - now all long gone. Do you have CD or MP3 versions of them ? I remember mainly the walnut SG custom that one of your guys played - loved that.

Are you still playing ?

G'day Hoggs, its been a long time!!

I was browzing the net the other day ( while in the UK actually) and came across your web site. Its good to see that you are still together. If you want to, drop me a line - I have some photos from the Munich trip in '74, not great, but a little bit of Hoggs history. I too, am still playing. Have 3 bands on the go and also do a lot of freelance work with solo artists around the local pubs. You know the feeling - once bitten by the rock music bug, you can't shake it.

Drop me line sometime ! I am now back home in Melbourne.

Cheers,
Geoff Stokes
